How Can I View Information About My ActiveX Server?

Problem:
I have an ActiveX Server that I would like to be able to view. How can I do this?

Solution:
If you have Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 installed, you can use the OLE/COM Object Viewer to see the contents of the ActiveX Server.

Launching the OLE/COM Object Viewer and Loading an ActiveX Server
  1. Click Start»All Programs»Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0»Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Tools»OLE View
  2. Click the View TypeLib button


  3. Navigate to the ActiveX Server and select Open
