Printing Out Case Structure Labels for all Cases in LabVIEW

Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems
Primary Software Version: 1.0
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I am trying to print a block diagram that contains a case structure. When it prints, only the first
case shows the case structure label, but the other cases show no label. How can I display
the case structure's label in the printout for all of its cases?

Solution:
In order to print out the case structure label for each case, you must create an HTML document of your block diagram first and then print that file out. Follow the steps to perform this task:
  1. Launch LabVIEW and open your VI.

  2. Switch to the block diagram by either pressing Ctrl+E or navigate to Window»Show Block
    Diagram
    .

  3. Make sure that your case structure's label is visible by right-clicking on the outer edge of the
case structure and selecting Visible Items»Label.

  4. Select File»Print and the Print dialog box shown below will be displayed.

  5. Select the VIs that you would like to print and click Next.

  6. Select the Icon, description, panel and diagram  option in the "Print contents" category shown above and click Next.

  7. Choose HTML file from the "Destination" category shown above and click Next.

  8. Choose your desired image features and click Save... to save your HTML file.

  9. Once your HTML file has been saved, close LabVIEW and open up the HTML file. Notice
that each case has a label.

  10. Print out the HTML file.

Attached below is an example VI called Print Case Structure. Print Case Structure HTML.zip contains the html file and images that are created when the above process is followed using the attached example VI.
