Can I Convert a .LST File to a .L4T File?

Primary Software: Lookout
Primary Software Version: 3.8
Primary Software Fixed Version: 4.0
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: I'm trying to port my Lookout 3.8 application to Lookout 6.0.2 and I've noticed that the new version of Lookout uses a .L4T file to save process state instead of the .LST file that Lookout 3.8 uses. Is there any way to convert my old .LST file to a .L4T?

Solution: Since these 2 file types (.LST and .L4T) are completely different in structure it is not possible to convert from one to the other. If you are converting an older lookout process to a newer version of Lookout you only need to recompile the .LKS file in the newer version. After doing this, it will create the .L4T file for you. Here are the steps for compiling a .LKS file in Lookout.
  1. Open Lookout
  2. Select File » Open
  3. Change the Files of Type input to Source Files (*.lks)
  4. Select your .LKS file and then click Open
Lookout will compile your source code and generate a .L4P, .L4T, and .LKA file for your process.
