Port Performance Difference on PCIe-8362 / PCIe-8372 MXI-Express 2 Port Boards

Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers>>PXI-8360

Problem:
I have a 2 port MXI-Express for PXI Express board. Is there a performance difference if I use port 1 versus port 2?

Solution:
The 2 port MXI-Express PCIe-8362 or PCIe-8372 boards have an onboard switch with a wider data path on port 2 that causes port 2 to have a faster transfer rate than port 1.

The disparity between the two ports is as follows:

PCIe-8362

 

1. Port 1: 193 MB/s
2. Port 2: 210 MB/s

PCIe-8372

1. Port 1: 566 MB/s
2. Port 2: 800 MB/s
