Why Does My AudioMASTER Installation Run Slowly?

Problem:
When I try to install certain versions of AudioMASTER, the installation runs very slowly. The CPU load is constantly close to 100%.

Solution:
You should install NI-DAQmx 8.7 or later. 

For versions of DAQmx prior to 8.7, the installer may try to repeatedly mass-compile the DAQmx VIs. This consumes unnecessary system resources that can slow down the installation dramatically.
