Does Measurement Studio support the Visual Studio Express Editions?

Solution

Measurement Studio does support the Visual Studio Express Editions. You'll be able to use the .NET controls and libraries. However, since Visual Studio Express Editions do not allow third-part integration, there is no support for Measurement Studio integration.

Additional Information

Measurement Studio integration includes project wizards, the Add/Remove Class Library Wizard, the Parameter Assistant, and the DAQ and Instrument I/O Assistants. You also will not have the Measurement Studio menu item in your Visual Studio environment.

Also, if you choose to install Visual Studio integration during your setup, you may get an error message like the one below:
