Where can I find the drivers for the MC-MXI interface?Hardware: VXI/VME/MXI>>MXI Interfaces>>MC-MXI
Problem: I am trying to install a MC-MXI interface. Where can I download the drivers for it? Where can I find some information on how to configure it? Solution: The MC-MXI is an interface that was obsoleted some time ago. As of 10/11/2002, the information available is scarce and the support that can be provided is limited to information currently available on our online support. The MicroChannel (MC) computers need Adapter Description Files (ADF) files for the interface card. Basically, ADF are plug-ins to MicroChannel BIOS software that describe the system resources that a card uses. They are used like INF files under Windows. Attached to this document, you should find a ZIP file that contains the complete released NI-VXI for MC-MXI driver (3 disks). The necessary ADF file (@0DFF.ADF) is in the "Disk 1" folder. For information on how to configure the MC-MXI interface, please refer to the Getting Started and the User Manuals. For more information on the interactive utilities VXIEdit and VIC, please see the KnowledgeBases linked below.
