Problem: Does CVI for Solaris work with Solaris OS for Intel x86 platforms?

Solution: LabWindows/CVI for Solaris 2.6 is NOT compatible with Intel hardware when running Solaris 2.6 for Intel x86 Platforms. The low level assembly/machine code that CVI generates that becomes your executable is SPARC processor specific.

Note: This is also why CVI for Windows is NOT compatible with Windows NT on an Alpha processor base hardware.
