These release notes describe new features of the NI-VXI bus interface software along with enhancements of existing features. New Features and Terminology There are four major areas in which new functionality has been added to NI-VXI to exploit features in MXI-2 and the MITE custom ASIC, a proprietary chip used in all MXI-2 boards.
