Your FlexMotion software package includes the FlexMotion utilities and
the FlexMotion firmware. Installing the FlexMotion software Release 3
upgrades and replaces the Windows FlexMotion Commander application,
the FlexMotion driver and support software, and the FlexMotion firmware
files on your PC.
One of the key FlexMotion features is the ease of upgrading the motion
control firmware on the board. Firmware includes the onboard motion
real-time operating system, the DSP algorithms, and the encoder Field
Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) program.
