This manual describes the TestStand architecture, provides an overview of important TestStand concepts and components, describes the TestStand sequence editor and sequence files, describes how to configure and customize a TestStand station, and describes the execution of sequences in TestStand. This manual also describes station global variables and the Station Globals window, describes the properties in the TestStand sequence context and how to use expressions in TestStand, and discusses how you create, modify, and use step types, custom named data types, and standard named data types in TestStand. The manual also includes information about the core set of built-in step types that TestStand provides, step types that you use to synchronize, TestStand user management, module adapters, the purpose and usage of the process models, how to manage and use test reports, how to create or customize an operator interface application, how to create an installer for a customized TestStand engine, how to distribute the TestStand engine with a run-time operator interface, how to distribute each type of code module that TestStand supports, and the database features of TestStand.
