David Bonal, New Mexico
I am your local field engineer. It is my job to help you find the information you need to develop solutions for your test, measurement, and automation challenges. I joined National Instruments after graduating from New Mexico Tech in 2000 with two bachelor's degrees - one in electrical engineering and another in computer science. During my first year with the company, I provided technical support for the entire NI product line as an applications engineer. I then joined our Customer Education department, for which I developed technical training and taught hundreds of customers worldwide. Since Summer 2006, I have been working as a field engineer in New Mexico.
NI recently announced LabVIEW 2009 (http://www.ni.com/labview/whatsnew/upgrade.htm), the latest version of the most widely used configuration-based graphical development software for test, measurement, and control applications. With NI software, you can seamlessly connect to high-performance measurement hardware, including data acquisition (DAQ), modular instrumentation, motion control, and machine vision devices, as well as stand-alone instruments. You can analyze and present your data in one software environment. Part of my role is to familiarize you with the capabilities and applications of these and other NI products.
My goal is to help you make informed decisions regarding test, measurement, and control. Your success and satisfaction are my objectives. I will show you and your staff how NI products and technologies can make a difference in your operations.
