National Instruments would like to introduce your Field Engineer, Travis Ferguson.
A native Texan, I grew up in Spring (a suburb of Houston) and moved to Austin in 1989 to attend the University of Texas. I earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and focused on solid-state electronics, as well as a general program covering many electrical engineering disciplines. While at school, I also worked for a short time at the Microelectronics Research Center on the Pickle Research Campus.
After joining National Instruments in 1994, I worked for several years with NI hardware and software products in our Engineering Leadership Program. I then moved to the NI technical marketing department as the product manager for the NI signal conditioning product lines. In 2001, I moved into the field to help the local community design and implement computer-based measurement and automation solutions.
NI recently announced LabVIEW 8.6 (http://www.ni.com/labview86/upgrade.htm), the latest version of the most widely used configuration-based graphical development software for test, measurement, and control applications. With NI software, you can seamlessly connect to high-performance measurement hardware, including data acquisition (DAQ), modular instrumentation, motion control, and machine vision devices, as well as stand-alone instruments. You can analyze and present your data in one software environment. Part of my role is to familiarize you with the capabilities and applications of these and other NI products.
Call me today to realize the benefits of virtual instrumentation with NI software and hardware products. My FREE services include:
- Conducting on-site product demonstrations and training
- Providing technical expertise for your planning and strategy sessions
- Helping you streamline both time and development costs from concept to deployment
My goal is to help you make informed decisions regarding test, measurement, and control. Your success and satisfaction are my objectives. I will show you and your staff how NI products and technologies can make a difference in your operations.
